Radio Holiday
Radio Holiday CD - Conquer The World
Although Radio Holiday are by no means
musical revolutionaries, they have taken their Nineties indie
rock-based sound and added one of the most important aspects
that any musician can to their art - passion. Nearly every song
on the record is played with a feeling that many groups, who
sometimes try for years, fail to capture. Their music is by
no means unique. Songs like “When You’re Around,”
“Castaway” and “Just A Friend” are pretty
much straight-forward rock, with an indie edge to it. Occasionally,
their sound even dips into the mainstream. However, the soul
that they play their music with makes it easy for listeners
to forget the band’s lack of originality. (Brian Peterson)
